Kinn Guesthouse Bay View

I had a great stay. Room was good. No closet but there are ample hooks by door if you needs to hang things. Don’t forget hangers! Common area was very nice. Better than my house! Parking in rear has enough space for count of rooms. Not enough space if people park stupid. I had a few questions while there and my texts were answered with lightening speed. My only complaint is my own fault and that is that I did not book the lone handicapped accessible room. At my age and that I live in a ranch house, I did not account for the two flights of very long stairs to get upstairs. Next time I’m getting the lone lower floor room that has its own kitchen. The neighborhood is fantastic. It’s also convenient to lots of cool places, especially the Bronze Fonz only ten minute drive. Loved it all!

Our stay was excellent. The room and common lounge were extremely clean and were cozy and warm in spite of the cold outside. I liked the ease of the check in/check out process and not having to worry about carrying a key card on me. It was a comfortable and nice stay with warm blankets and a decent mattress. The location has parking and is a quick drive to some great coffee and food options. We wish we had had time to try to restaurant downstairs for dinner, but it just didn’t work out this time since we were in town for a wedding. If I had to be nitpicky, my only comments would be that the pillows were a bit flat for me (but I am a side sleeper and get neck pains easily) and there was only one tiny trash can in the bathroom for the entire room, which was not a problem for us but I could see it being annoying if you had more people staying. These were super small things though and overall we loved our stay - would visit again!

I always choose Kinn Guesthouse in Bay View when I visit Milwaukee. It’s not only a great location but is such a cool place and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. There is also a common area that you can hang out in that is so convenient with many great amenities! You can even play your own music through their Sonia system! I highly recommend!!

Nice size room. Well maintained and a good value. Not sure why it says breakfast included. Only had coffee and tea with a few packs of instant oatmeal. Not what I would call breakfast included but still and very nice stay and a good value. Walkable to a number of breakfast choices Would stay here again and recommend it

This place is essentially a hybrid AirBnb and hotel. I loved the design, cleanliness, and the neighborhood was very cute. However, there were a few areas of improvement. 1. The modern bed was aesthetically pleasing but not comfortable at all. There was no headboard and my head kept falling between the wall and the edge of the bed throughout the night. The pillows and bedding were also not soft and felt like they came from Target. 2. The breakfast options were not dietary-restriction friendly. If you are vegan or have gluten intolerance/celiac, there won't be any breakfast options for you. 3. You share an entrance with a restaurant, which definitely makes it feel like an AirBnb experience. 4. The walls are very thin. You can hear conversations in the other room. 5. The room doesn't have any personal amenities like coffee, tea, or a fridge. Everything is out in the communal area, but it was also lacking, and it was hard to figure out where anything was. There was a communal fridge with an empty Brita pitcher, which I didn't want to use because it was unclear how old the filter was and if I had to do the hotel's dishes. This last bit definitely made me feel like I was staying in an AirBnb.
